Sony have shared the list of most downloaded PlayStation 4 games in 2018. EA's FIFA 19 took the first spot in front of Treyarch's Call of Duty Black Ops 4 while Beat Saber was the best selling VR game beating Job Simulator to first place.

Ed Boon has shared the official cover art for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 ahead of the big community reveal event next week. The cover star is once again the resurrected ninja Scorpion in his new outfit with iconic Kunai knives.

THQ Nordic officially announced the acquisition of action-adventure classic Outcast. The company confirmed that everything has been finalised with the original creators as Outcast becomes their seventh acquisition in the last 13 months.

Metroid Prime 4's potential release date has been leaked by a Czech online game retailer. The info on Metroid Prime 4's page on SuperGamer store website states that Nintendo's much-anticipated title will release on 29 November 2019.

Rockstar have released a new update for Red Dead Online Beta which introduces a new battle royale mode dubbed Gun Rush. It supports up to 32 players and unlike Make it Count it has guns. It's playable in free for all and team modes.

Atlas has received its most substantial update since launching into Early Access back in December 2018. The new patch brings numerous bug fixes, reduces Sea monsters' damage up to 66 per cent, fixes flag claims and boosts tamed creatures.

Ubisoft and Epic have announced a semi-exclusive partnership that will see The Division 2 release on Epic Store. The upcoming looter shooter will not release on Steam and Ubisoft will also sell the PC version on their own Uplay store.

Some Alien Isolation fans are not happy with FoxNext's reveal of survival mobile game Alien: Blackout which was announced as a new story of Amanda Ripley. Fans expected a proper sequel to the beloved survival horror Alien Isolation.

ESRB has given The Division 2 an M for Mature rating which warns of blood, intense violence, drug references and strong language. The rating summary also mentions drug labs, hammer kills and drug kitchen graffiti written on some walls.

A new bug in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 battle royale mode Blackout has appeared and it's spawning all 100 players in the last circle. Redditor bwg11 shared a video of his experience which unfortunately ended before anyone could win.

FoxNext officially confirmed that an Alien themed MMO shooter is in the works by Cold Iron Studios. The info comes just after the announcement of mobile game Alien: Blackout which disappointed some fans expecting an Alien Isolation sequel.

Capcom announced Resident Evil 2 Remake 1-Shot demo which will go live on 11 January 2019. The demo will offer players a chance to try out the game for 30 minutes with infinite lives to spend. It will be available on PC and consoles.
