Sniper Elite 5 and older remasters announced

Rebellion Developments have posted a development update video that details their future work recently. The highlight is the announcement of Sniper Elite 5, but there is also the debut on Nintendo Switch and remasters of older titles.

Rebellion have bought Tick Tock Games

Developer and publisher Rebellion announced the acquisition of Yorkshire-based studio Tick Tock Games, who worked on Rogue Trooper Redux. With this acquisition, Rebellion now owns a total of four studios working on unannounced projects.

Australia leaks Sniper Elite V2 Remaster

Sniper Elite V2 remaster is on the way apparently and it's Australian rating boards that leaked it. The remaster will be done by Rebellion, so it's not a third party work, which should put some fans' mind to rest, or disappointment.

Strange Brigade gets a gameplay trailer

Rebellion Developments are wrapping up work on a their latest singleplayer and co-op focused title - Strange Brigade. The game is set in the 1930s and it sees four characters with special abilities traveling across the British Empire.

SEPTEMBER 20

Sniper Elite 4 arrives on shelves today

Sniper Elite 4 follows the formula of its predecessors, improving it along the way. Anyone looking to find out how Rebellion have iterated on their more stealthy approach to Nazi expulsion can now grab a sniper rifle and get to scoping.

Humble Monthly early unlocks for September

Humble Monthly's offering for August is now behind us and the one for September has kicked off with early unlocks. It gives players the choice to pick from Rise of the Tomb Raider or Sniper Elite 4, along with Tales of Berseria and Staxel.

Console versions killed Battlefront 3

An interesting document has surfaced recently, discussing Battlefront 3 and the straining relationship between the then-developer Free Radical and LucasArts. The devs claim that it was in fact console versions that killed the game dead.

Battlezone: Battle Commander coming in March

Battlezone: Battle Commander is a streamlined manner of titling the upcoming Battlezone II remaster. Naming practicalities aside, Big Boat Interactive will have the classic ready for an early March release date - a modern DX coat of paint, 4K graphics, and multiplayer functionality from the olden days.

Rogue Trooper Redux out for all platforms

Rogue Trooper Redux's release date has finally rolled around. The game sees the return of 2000 AD hero Rogue enhanced with HD graphics, remodelled assets, new special effects and more. Rogue Trooper Redux is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Rogue Trooper Redux

Rogue Trooper Redux will launch on 17 October on PlaySttaion 4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. A new trailer guides the viewer through the game's universe, campaign, modes, and the biochip abilities. Rogue Trooper Redux will be available for £19.99.

OCTOBER 5

Rogue Trooper Redux - release date

Rebellion and Tick Tock completely remade Rogue Trooper from the ground up using current-gen quality materials and higher resolution geometry. The game now has a graphics comparison video and a release date - 17 October. The Switch version will launch soon after.
