Skull and Bones, the latest pirate life simulator from Ubisoft, is a game that features a huge number of various activities, with treasure maps being one of the most interesting; it is a pirate game after all.
While the general locations of the treasure maps are not particularly hard to solve, mostly because of their resemblance to the in-game map, locating the treasure itself might prove challenging and also might require a lot of searching and failing while exploring deserted islands.
One of the first treasure maps you will come across while looting the first ships very early in the game will be the Relic of the Past treasure map, and in this guide, we will disclose the location of the treasure it hides.
How to find the treasure hidden behind the Relic of the Past treasure map
Once you obtain the map, press the map key and open the journal by pressing the square button (PlayStation controller). Inside the journal, navigate to the Relic of the Past quest and begin tracking it. Press the square button again to show more of the quest and choose View Treasure Map.
The treasure map will show the landscape that closely resembles the south part of the Red Isle. Set your waypoint to the question mark located in this area and sail to it. Once you arrive, you will discover a new outpost, Fort Louis. As soon as you set foot on it, look to the left; the treasure is located just a couple of metres from the place where you first arrive on this outpost.
The Relic of the Past will be one of the rewards found in this chest, and now with it in your possession, highlight the same quest once more and sail to the north, to Palisade Bay, and exchange this quest item for the quest rewards.
