When you get to Chapter 2 of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, your first ask will be to infiltrate the carnival and find your way to the church. In order to do that, you and your companion Leni need to pay attention to the cloths that are hanging around and follow them. After both Sophia and Leni hide their weapons and put on masks to match the rest of the people there, it's time to open your eyes and pay attention to the red and white signals hidden in the environment.
Following the hanging cloths
The first cloth is hanging right above, so Sophia and Leni can easily make their way under it and more forward.
After moving past the first one, Sophia will move past a child that is enjoying the carnival and throwing flower petals around, and on her. When you move past the child and the little encounter, the second cloth will be to the left, hanging above the path you need to take next.
Getting past the guards
Moving through the narrow pathway will get you to an open space, with a bunch of people dancing and enjoying the carnival. If you look to the right, there will be two guys standing guard, that is the way you need to go. After they search you for weapons, they'll let you pass and you'll soon notice another smaller cloth hanging on a pillar.
When you get past the guards and find your next cloth, you'll end up in an open space again, this time with a fountain in the middle, people dancing around and enjoying the festivities. You need to make your way to the right side of the fountain and through a pathway at the end, which will take you to another cloth hanging on a wall.
In the next section, Sophia needs to get to the small bridge in front of her and walk to the other side where the final piece of cloth will be waiting for her.
Reaching the church courtyard
After that cloth, you'll be close to the church but unable to get to it yet, as there is a large crowd blocking the way to the church courtyard. The problem there is that two guards are letting people slowly pass, but they're also doing a check up which Sophia and Leni will not be able to pass and they will get caught. In order to avoid that, Leni will find a different way to get you pass the crowd and the guards, and take you into the church courtyard. After a quick trek, you'll find yourself right in front of the church. Now in order to progress, all you need to do is go towards the church entrance and then make your way to the right. There is a small path you can take which will get you behind the church and allow you to get some weapons and progress further in the story.
