Owlcat Games put several brain teasers and a few traps to prevent accidental solutions in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. One such puzzle is in the very beginning.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous doesn't wait long to present some of the best features it can offer the players. A pretty awesome puzzle happens at the very beginning of the game as you are trying to escape the underground through the Shield Maze. Now, if you paid attention and made sure no lore or trivia gets past you until now, you will probably know how to solve the puzzle as the game drops you a few hints.
On the other hand, it is filled to the brim with knowledge and lore exposition so WotR can sometimes become a bit overbearing, resulting in a dialogue skip or not reading through an entry. Therefore, you end up missing out on the clues that help you solve the puzzle with the coloured runes but thankfully, it can be found elsewhere.
Shield Maze coloured rune puzzle solution
Once you reach the puzzle, at the very edge of the north-western part of the Shield Maze, you are presented with four runes on a wall - Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. The trick here is that you can use a rune more than once so if you tried random combinations, you are highly unlikely to get the correct one.
The correct sequence is Yellow, Blue, Red, Yellow. After that, a door will open and Seelah will run into the passage, explaining the significance of the item she found in the chest.
