How to exit collapsing cave in Oxenfree II: Lost Signals
Following a brief game that eases Jacob's anxiety regarding entering the cave, you will discover a fully operational elevator that serves as your means of returning to the past. However, there's a caveat: only one person can be inside the elevator at a time while the other operates the controls to raise it.
Make the suggestion for Jacob to enter the elevator while you take charge of initiating its ascent. Interact with the cross button to activate the elevator, and then utilise the right stick to raise it to the top. As the elevator reaches the summit, the cave-in will start.
Once Jacob exits the elevator, manipulate the right stick to lower the elevator until its bottom aligns with the first horizontal metal structure supporting it. Ensure that it is level and in position, and then release control of the elevator.
Swiftly sprint towards the left and ascend the rocky formations with haste until you reach the pinnacle. Leap over the gap to your right and then jump onto the tear, utilising the lift that was previously positioned for this purpose.
Press the cross button to exit the past and transition back to the present, but this time find yourself atop the broken elevator.
