How to save Ranger Shelley
As you make your way towards the final transmitter installation, the path will guide you to a phone booth. Here, you will be required to answer an incoming call and engage in a truly peculiar conversation.
During the conversation with the ghost from the Second World War, a dire warning will be issued regarding the potential demise of Shelley if she leaves her workplace. As soon as the conversation concludes, you will be presented with the choice to contact Shelley or not. Opt for the option to call her and use your walkie-talkie, dialling channel 1, to establish communication with Shelley.
While conversing with Shelley, make the choice to divulge the truth, which entails revealing the encounter with the ghost (despite how unbelievable it may sound, this option will ensure her survival). Subsequently, when presented with the option, advise Shelley not to depart from her workplace, to which she will eventually comply, thereby ensuring her safety.
Once Shelley agrees to remain inside, you will be rewarded with the "Just Stay Put" trophy, which will appear as an acknowledgement of her compliance and your successful intervention in preserving her safety.
