Overwatch 2 Season 10 introduces a new core game mode called Clash Trials. Blizzard also released Mythic Hero Skins, Mythic Prisms, and a new map called Hanaoka.

Overwatch 2, introduces a new core game mode called Clash Trials as a part of its Season 10 update. Here teams will go back and forth against each other for control over 5 capture points. Each secured objective contributes to the team's score.

To gain victory the winning team must be controlling all five points simultaneously or accumulating five points before the opposing team. This mode will be accessible for a limited time, ending on April 29 according to Blizzard.

How does the Clash mode work in Overwatch 2?

  • There are five objectives arranged sequentially on a mirrored map layout.
  • At any point in time, only one objective is actively available for capture.
  • Matches kick off with the centre objective being the initial focal point.
  • To capture an objective, players must stand within its vicinity, initiating a progress bar that fills over time. However, enemy presence can halt this progress.
  • Upon successfully capturing an objective, the team earns one point towards their overall score. Additionally, the next objective along their advancing direction becomes active.
  • Objectives can change ownership multiple times throughout the match. In the event that a team loses control, the subsequent active objective shifts in the opposite direction.
