EA and Battlefield Studios have hit the mark with Battlefield 6. The new large-scale shooter has been received with open arms, showing a record number of players across all platforms.
Now adding to the fun, EA is adding a new free-to-play battle royale, REDSEC, with the Season 1 update. The Battle Royale mode will be a separate game on its own tied to Battlefield 6, similar to Call of Duty: Warzone and subsequent Call of Duty titles.
The servers for Battlefield 6 REDSEC go live on October 28, 2025, ending the long wait for players. During the launch week, players can earn different exclusive rewards by simply watching their favourite streamers play the game mode on Twitch. Here's how you can get all the Twitch drops during the launch week.
How to Get All Twitch Drops in Battlefield 6 REDSEC Season 1
The first step in participating is logging into your EA and Twitch accounts and linking them by following this process:
- Go to your Connected Accounts page on EA's website.
- Sign in with your EA account.
- Then click on Twitch to link your account.
- Log in to your Twitch account.
- Wait for the linking process to be complete.
Then, during Battlefield 6 REDSEC’s launch week - October 28 at 8 AM PT to November 4 at 11:59 AM PT, head to your favourite creators streaming Battlefield 6 REDSEC to unlock a Weapons Package, a Soldier Skin and more.
Once you complete the Twitch Drop objective with your linked account, claim it on Twitch before logging into Battlefield 6 REDSEC to receive your reward. Here's how to unlock all Twitch drops during the game mode's launch week:
- Watch for 1 Hour and earn the “Hitchhiking” Vehicle Decal
- Watch for 2 Hours and earn the "Marauder" Vehicle Skin
- Watch for 3 Hours and earn the “Highland Hunter” Weapons Package
- Watch for 4 Hours and earn the “No Mercy” Soldier Skin
All completed drops will automatically appear in your Drops Inventory, so make sure to claim yours within 24 hours. Once claimed, your Drops will be granted in-game for both Battlefield 6 owners and in REDSEC.
