How to Unlock the SGX
The SGX is unlocked by default for the Engineer class in Battlefield 6. After equipping the SGX, you must level it up to open all attachment slots and consequently unlock different attachments for it.

The SGX is a robust SMG that excels at close ranges. It is excellent for all close-range fights, especially in tight-knit game modes like Domination and King of the Hill.
The SGX stands out from other SMGs simply due to its manageable recoil and damage stats. Moreover, it is the SMG that is unlocked by default for the Engineer class.
The FMJ rounds will amplify the gun's penetration ability, making it even more potent for close-range gunfights. Combined with the Stippled Stubby and Compensated Brake's weapon control buffs, you'll be an unstoppable force with the SGX.
Alternatively, the best replacements for the SGX are the PW5A3 and UMG-40 SMGs. However, these SMGs are mostly useful for players at higher levels and who prefer to play big maps.
