EA and Battlefield Studios have finally released Season 1 for Battlefield 6. The first major seasonal update of the large-scale shooter includes the addition of new weapons, maps, game modes, and the battle royale mode, REDSEC.
Aside from the new in-game content, EA has also included a brand-new battle pass to incentivise players into playing Battlefield 6. Alongside the battle pass, EA has also added a new Battlefield Pro plan for players. Here's an in-depth look at the battle pass and Battlefield Pro in Battlefield 6.
What is the Battle Pass in Battlefield 6?
The Battle Pass is a seasonal reward system for customisation and functional content: play Battlefield 6 or REDSEC to earn new weapons for your loadout, progression boosts, and gear for your in-game soldier, weapons, vehicles and player profile.
Each seasonal Battle Pass will offer over 100 tiers of free and premium rewards, with additional tiers to be unlocked during the season.
The premium Battle Pass, which includes access to earn all 100+ tiers, instant rewards and a 10% Battle Pass progression boost, is available from October 28 until the end of Season 1 for 1,100 BFC, or Battlefield Currency, the in-game currency that can be bought on digital platforms. No purchase is necessary to unlock the Battle Pass’ free tiers, which include all functional content such as weapons.
Upgrading to the premium battle pass unlocks the following items instantly:
- New Pax Armata Support Class Soldier - Brodie, Panopticon 8

- Parachute - Transparency

Battlefield Pro will be available for $24.99/£21.99, or your regional equivalent.
Upgrading to Battlefield Pro unlocks the following items instantly:

However, you can opt out of purchasing both items as crucial items like weapons are unlocked for free through the battle pass.
