Among the many collectibles in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the newest action RPG from Don't Nod, are the cursed chests, the chests that usually hold pieces of Red's equipment and are locked tight behind the three figurines, and a ritual.
The figurines required for unlocking those chests are always located in close proximity to the cursed chest, and while finding some is quite a straightforward job, some will require deeper exploration of the given location.
However, the first chest, locked behind the Sentry's figurines, differs from this formula because, in order to unlock this chest, you will have to solve three different treasure maps, and those maps are scattered in three different regions in the game. In this guide, we will explain all three treasure maps and how to uncover their treasure that, among other goodies, holds one of the Sentry's figurines.
How to solve all three Sentry's treasure maps
The first two treasure maps for this chest are acquired from the elite enemy guarding the cursed chest. To find the first treasure, fast travel to the Hunters’ Camp shelter and head over the bridge east of the shelter. Continue up the path until you reach an open area. As soon as you enter, Antea will comment about the treasure. Go a bit further; treasure is located next to the pond with a little waterfall.
All these treasures are marked with strange markings, so once you hear a comment about the treasure, switch to Antea and look for markings; this will make the search a lot easier.
The second treasure from available maps is located in the snowy area of Mount Pleasant, more precisely near Fort Jerico. Once you reach Fort Jerico, your first mission will be to gain access to the mines. Whether you are looking for this treasure during this mission or after, the path to it is the same. To the right of the fort's entrance is the lift. Use it to reach the area above the fort. Once you exit the lift, the treasure is located just to the left, underneath the big rock that holds the big flag. As a reward for finding the treasure, you will get the last treasure map.
The third treasure is located inside the Harrows area. Keep in mind, however, that this location might be locked the first time you arrive in The Harrows. From the main, wide area inside Harrows village, head up the hill to your right until you reach the big elevator leading to the beach below. Go down by the elevator, and when you reach the bottom, climb the rock on your right. Continue up the path for a bit, and you will find the treasure.
Now, with all three Sentry statues in your possession, get back to the cursed chest and open it to find the Mirror of Venus brooch as a reward. This brooch increases manifestation damage by 100 per cent against enemies affected by Ensnare.
