Atlas Fallen: How to find healing idols and which ones to use

Atlas Fallen uses healing items called "Idols," each possessing distinct characteristics. This guide aims to assist you in locating these Idols and identifying the best ones to use, considering their unique properties and benefits.

In Atlas Fallen, the latest RPG action-adventure game developed by Focus Home Interactive, health does not regenerate automatically; instead, you must utilise healing items, similar to most games of this genre.

What sets this game apart from other RPG titles is the diversity of healing items, known as idols in Atlas Fallen. These idols come in various forms and possess distinct properties, adding a unique dimension to the gameplay experience.

This guide aims to provide you with comprehensive insights on obtaining various idols in Atlas Fallen and identifying which ones can offer the most significant benefits to enhance your gaming experience.

Everything you need to know about healing idols in Atlas Fallen

At the onset of the game, you will receive the first healing idol, called the "Idol of Haste," which serves as the initial healing item. When utilised, this starting idol replenishes approximately 60 percent of your character's health.

While traversing the game world, you will encounter new idols sporadically, each offering unique advantages. These special idols are often obtained as rewards for completing quests or discovered within chests scattered throughout the game's diverse environments.

Atlas Fallen: The best healing idols are located in Highlands
Atlas Fallen: Idol of Heights is located beneath the southern watchtower

We highly recommend two exceptional idols that will significantly benefit your gameplay: the Idol of Heights and the Idol of Deflection. You can find both idols in random locations within the game's Highlands map. Once you obtain these idols, make sure to utilise them wisely for their remarkable effects.

The Idol of Heights offers health restoration after spending ten seconds airborne, and given the amount of time spent airborne during battles, you may find yourself rarely needing to use conventional healing methods. This idol can be found in a cave beneath the watchtower in the southern part of the map (southern, not south-western, because there is another watchtower all the way to the south-west, and that's not the right one).

On the other hand, the Idol of Deflection replenishes your health following a successful parry, and considering how frequently the parry mechanic is employed in combat, this idol proves to be an ideal selection. Whichever of these idols you decide to utilise, rest assured that you can't go wrong with either choice.
