THQ Nordic acquire Warhorse Studios

THQ Nordic are obviously not nearly done with their shopping spree as the publisher now acquired Warhorse Studios, developer of the action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, although the developer will continue to operate independently.

Well Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance may have pulled a Fortnite, with the game getting patched and repatched in mere hours, but Kingdom Come's servers are still up and running and the company has a surprise for PC users as well.

Kingdom Come patch fixes saves, performance

Warhorse Studios' war horse seems to have limped while delivering the 1.3 patch for Kingdom Come: Deliverance but hey - better late than never. The patch brings a proper save system as well as a bunch of other improvements.

Warhorse's medieval epic, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has made its way onto GOG. The RPG is available as a standalone or as part of a bundle that also includes its soundtrack, and an art book. The game has already sold over 1 million copies.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance upcoming patch fixes PS4 crashes

Executive producer Martin Klima discussed the game's release on the official forums. Mr Klima admitted that he would have liked more time to polish the game before it launched, and that he doesn't like the comparison to a triple-A studio.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance has moved 1 million copies across all platforms in less than two weeks. A Czech site first broke the news, which was later confirmed in a tweet by the game's US community manager.

After the smoke has cleared, launch-day jitters have worn off and integrity has seeped back in through pocket holes, it's time to patch Kingdom Come: Deliverance's shortcomings out of existence. Warhorse Studios say they're looking at 'Save and Exit' mechanics, adding respec potion, mini game tweaks, bug fixes, etc.

FIFA 18 rules UK sales charts, again

Thanks to a heavy discount on the Nintendo Switch version, FIFA 18 is back at the top of the UK sales chart. Kingdom Come: Deliverance has debuted at number two. Last week's number one, Shadow of the Colossus, has fallen to number seven.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance has arrived some two days ago and reviews are trickling in. So far, it seems the game is almost everything it was cracked up to be, even though graphics issues are aplenty and the save system, even though inventive, doesn't seem to be practical.
