We speculated about it, Bethesda leaked it in tandem with Walmart Canada and now Jade Raymond offered some insider insight - the next Splinter Cell game exists, at least as a concept, that was developed during her time at Ubisoft.

Ghost Recon Wildlands gets a free weekend

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands' free weekend will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The new PvP mode will be available starting on 10 October 2017. There will also be a 50 per cent discount during the free weekend.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands beta

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a new PvP mode. The open beta for Ghost War will be available on all platforms in late September 2017. A proper Ghost War premiere will be held on a Twitch stream on 19 September 2017.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands free weekend announced

Ubisoft have announced that they will host a free weekend on Ghost Recon: Wildlands, starting on 20 September 2018. As per usual, sales going up to 60 per cent will accompany the free weekend event, and preloads are already available.

GR: Wildlands and R6: Siege trailer released

Ghost Recon: Wildlands Special Operation 2 is coming on 24 July 2018 along with the Rainbow Six Siege crossover. Ubisoft have released a trailer that explains what Rainbow Six operatives are doing in Bolivia and shows new items in the game.

Ubisoft are looking for more crossovers in Ghost Recon Wildlands following the well received appearances by Sam Fisher and the Predator. It seems like Rainbow Six Siege operators will be the next in line, following a new update teaser.

Ubisoft have announced that Year 2 post-launch content will be coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands in a series of updates, with the first one happening on 10 April 2018. They will release the first update simultaneously across all platforms.

Ghost Recon Wildlands has loot boxes now

Ubisoft has unleashed a new update for their Ghost Recon Wildlands. The latest patch to go live in the game has brought a new game mode for PvP, some new maps and Battle Crates. The newly added loot boxes will feature cosmetic items that'll have "no impact on the weapon stats".
