Apex Legends officially launched on February 4, 2019, and rather than relying on any marketing campaign, Respawn dropped the game silently, and it exploded within hours.

Titanfall 3 is not in Respawn's plans yet

Respawn Entertainment have announced and released Apex Legends in a quick stream combo, which left many Titanfall fans wondering whether a sequel is in the works. The developer confirmed it is not and their full focus is on Apex Legends.

Apex Legends, the free to play battle royale from Respawn Entertainment is now available for download. The news came as a surprise in the announcement livestream, effectively meaning the game had no marketing except an earlier leak.

FEBRUARY 4

Apex Legends will feature executions

Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella promised a stream that will tease Apex Legends and it has offered some insight into the game's workings. Players will have pulse as an ability, throwables and executions will be featured once again.
