Valve have released their infographics of sort, that are more like ladders for the best sellers in various categories. As per usual, we have top sellers, most concurrent players, best VR, top new releases and top Early Access graduates.

Gaben's top sellers for 2018 were the obvious suspects - PUBG, Monster Hunter: World, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Far Cry 5, Rainbow Six Siege, GTA V, Rocket League, Dota 2, CS:GO and Warframe all made it to the Platinum bracket. As you may have noted, the last three are free to play titles, but the measurement here was simply gross revenue, including microtransactions.

Sadly, and oddly enough, Path of Exile and Divinity: Original Sin 2 didn't make it to the top bracket, settling in Gold instead, alongside The Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. ARK: Survival Evolved is also here, meaning people keep paying for a game that had DLC while it was unfinished, so it's no wonder Atlas came to be in the end.

Top Early Access graduates include Dead Cells, Rust and Conan Exiles, which are games no one should be surprised to see in Platinum bracket. On the other hand, we were all surprised to see Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr here as the game proved to be a bit of a snoozefest when it comes to the action RPG genre.

Almost a half of the reviewers on Steam seem to share this sentiment, but a 60 per cent positive review score isn't that bad after all. Still, it's sad games like Ghost of a Tale sold less, especially due to this passion project being cheaper and received much better, as it stood at 92 per cent positive reviews at the time of writing.

Most Simultaneous players batch may be misleading as it only covers the games that managed to break a certain threshold of concurrent players, at any given time in 2018. Therefore, in the 100.000+ tier, you have games with huge player bases such as Dota 2, GTA V, Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG, but there is also Realm Royale that only had that many players during its early days. Now it's at about two per cent of that concurrent player count.
