Billbil-kun, the French leaker with an exceptional track record on PlayStation Plus leaks, has revealed six games reportedly set to join the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogue this month. Sony Interactive Entertainment are expected to officially confirm the Extra and Premium additions on 11 March, but if history is anything to go by, this list is almost certainly accurate.
The insider has revealed a total of seven games set to be included in this month's selection, though there should be more on top of them.
The six titles named are:
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
- Persona 5 Royal
- Madden NFL 26
- Metal Eden
- The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
- Astroneer
Space Marine 2 is the undisputed top of the bill. Saber Interactive's third-person action game was one of the biggest releases of 2024, selling over five million copies and earning widespread praise for its satisfying combat and spectacular set pieces. It's exactly the kind of game that makes a monthly catalogue drop feel genuinely worthwhile.
Persona 5 Royal is another enormous addition. Atlus's critically acclaimed JRPG is regularly cited as one of the best games of its generation, and for anyone who hasn't played it yet, this is as good an excuse as any to finally stop putting it off.
Metal Eden is an interesting inclusion given it only recently launched. The sci-fi action game from Reikon Games, the studio behind Ruiner, gets a very quick turnaround onto the service. Astroneer and The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria round things out as solid co-op options, and Madden NFL 26 will do what Madden always does.
A leak from earlier this week that claimed Final Fantasy 16 and Dragon's Dogma 2 would be included is reportedly not accurate.
