Frontier Foundry have released a first developer diary episode for their upcoming turn-based RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters.
The first developer diary episode for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters has been shared by the Frontier Foundry. The first episode is hosted by Creative Director Noah Decter-Jackson who is joined by Art Director Jonas Van Niekerk and Lead Designer Peter Schnabl.
The team talks about the game's core gameplay mechanics such as tactical combat which provides players with total control of the battlefield including customising and commanding their forces on the ground and using the environmental obstacles and hazards.
Additionally, they also explain in detail the game's Strategic Management, which covers the management and repairs of the squad’s battle cruiser named The Baleful Edict, as well as overseeing the galaxy-wide battle against the Warp plague Bloom.

Frontier Foundry plan to release another two episodes of the dev diary series for the game, where they plan to talk about other elements of their upcoming turn-based tactical RPG.
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters will release exclusively on the PC platform sometime in 2022 via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
