Warface has landed on Nintendo Switch and the extensive 'Titan' update has now been released for all consoles the game is available on. The Switch version of the My.Games published game is now up for grabs and the Nintendo's console owners can snatch it up it for free.
Warface is the first FPS game set in a military environment that is free to download on the Switch and it has some other unique features as well.
My.Games' FPS is also the first CryEngine-powered title on Nintendo Switch. Warface uses an extremely customized version of CryEngine and is running locked in 30FPS/720p in TV mode and 540p in handheld and tabletop modes. This provides an optimal equilibrium between image clarity and performance.
The development of Warface has been carried out by My.Games' in-house studio - Allods Team. The studio is known for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Warface and Skyforge.
The Switch version of Warface is decked out with some platform-specific features that include gyro controls - that will help the players with their aim - as well as HD Rumble, and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
Switch players won't have a need for a Nintendo Online subscription as Warface's online multiplayer and voice chat are supported without that requirement.
All Warface's PvE missions will be available at launch and so will be the five PvP modes:
- Team Deathmatch
- Free For All
- Plant the Bomb
3 Special Operations will also be accessible:
- The HQ
- Cold Peak
- Earth Shaker
Players will be unlocking new content and game modes every week and the Switch version also includes the latest Warface: Titan update, adding the 5th playable class to the game - the SED.
