After a petition by the players, for Amazon developers to do a run of one of the most unforgiving places in the game, they have answered the call and promise to deliver a video soon for us to witness their adventure.
After numerous complaints about the game, New World fanbase has started accusing Amazon Game Studios of not caring about their game, or at the very least, not being aware of the state the game is in, and being delusional.
To combat this, players have started a petition on the official New World forums, asking the developers to live stream a run of Myrkguard, one of the most unforgiving places in the game, and either show the players how it's done or get some perspective on what happens in those types of runs nowadays.
In their recent Developer Blog video, they have answered the call and promised to put out a video with this content soon, of developers with average skill levels and gear, doing a run of the requested location.
What is worrying here is the fact that Amazon are releasing a video, rather than doing a live stream, however. It's almost as if they themselves are aware of what awaits them in Myrkguard, and do not wish to embarrass themselves more than necessary. Or perhaps wish to fine-tune the process, as a live stream would entail the run be either be done or fail on the first try, while with a video, developers get however many tries they need.
Whatever the case, the fanbase has grown so cynical of everything Amazon does, that we can't really expect a positive reaction to the video, no matter its content.
