SpaceX founder Elon Musk compared social media networks to RPGs such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne and The Legend of Zelda. Apparently, a "You Died" message is a pretty common thing for Reddit and Twitter users. Instagram, not so much.
In case you missed it, Elon Musk has been on some spree when it comes to gaming related tweets in past week. Firstly he made a joke about buying and deleting Fortnite because he had "to save the kids from eternal virginity".
Pretty strong meme game from Elon we gotta admit. Epic Games even responded to his , citing a month old article about Musk's Mars building mission launching in 10 years: "A whole decade @elonmusk, Just build, LOL!" official Fortnite Twitter account added, to which Musk replied, "Reality is hard."
The feud between Fortnite and Musk appears to be over but that didn't stop Elon chatting about the video games. Now he's comparing social media networks like Reddit, Twitter and Instagram to Dark Souls, Bloodborne and The Legend of Zelda. Which one is which, you may ask? Well if that isn't already obvious, if Twitter was a video game it would be Dark Souls, Reddit is as tough as Bloodborne and you'll be wandering around Hyrule if Instagram was an action RPG.
Elon's comparison is pretty much spot on we would say, maybe, just maybe Reddit is a bit different and more like Doom than Bloodborne. Too bad 4chan doesn't fall into social media network category, as we would love to see Elon's comparison on that one.
As you probably know, the SpaceX and Tesla owner talks about games quite a lot. Just after trolling Fortnite, Musk promised to buy Valve and make Half-Life 3 but he's probably too busy building tunnels under Los Angeles and spaceships for his trip to Mars. Musk was also presented with the idea of buying Bethesda just for the sake of remaking Fallout New Vegas but he swiftly rejected it.

The coolest thing of Musk's love for video games is probably a feature in new Tesla cars that come with classic Atari games that can be played using the touchscreen or even the driving wheel. Pretty neat, right? All in all, Musk gave Dark Souls, Bloodborne and The Legend of Zelda a free promotion, got into little banter with Fortnite and promised us Half Life 3, the guy is unstoppable.
