New maps, machinery, game modes and the French

Details concerning Battlefield 1's first DLC are on the table. Titled , the multiplayer DLC pack will contain four new maps, a new game node, new artillery and the French army as a playable faction.

The new maps are Verdun Heights, Fort Vaux, Soissons and Rapture. One of the greater additions to the game comes in the form of the French army described as "hardened and fearless, the French join the fight".
