Battlefield 1 Turning Tides will bring six new weapons in December

Battlefield 1's third expansion will be available in December. Turning Tides will bring a variety of maps set across Gallipoli and the North Sea. A new faction will be available in January.

Battlefield 1's third expansion is about to storm the beaches. Battlefield 1 - Turning Tides will let the players "deploy into all-out war in a variety of maps and gameplay set across Gallipoli and the North Sea" says the press release.

The third expansion for Battlefield 1 will bring four new maps:

• Cape Helles: Storm the beaches of the Gallipoli peninsula with the British forces or defend the Ottoman Empire’s fortifications. Master the land, air, and sea interplay to win the defining battles. Cape Helles will be available in December.
• Achi Baba: Throw yourself into the British assault on the Gallipoli peninsula of 1915 in an intense, fast, and infantry-focused setting. Take part of a treacherous push for a prominent hilltop position. Achi Baba will be available in December.

EA Battlefield 1 - Turning Tides

• Heligoland Bight: The Great War at sea. Engage in an epic naval clash as the British Empire Royal Marines and German Navy pit dreadnoughts, destroyers, and aircraft against each other while infantry troops fight by the iconic red cliffs of Rocky Cove. Heligoland Bight will be available in January.
• Zeebrugge: Take part of the daring British raid on the Belgian port of Bruges-Zeebrugge with rough waves and a vast German mole as backdrop. Fight at sea, in the air, and in close-quarter infantry environments. Zeebrugge will be available in January.

January will bring a new faction as well: British Empire: Royal Marines. Six new weapons will be available when the expansion drops in December: M1917 Trench Carbine, Maschinenpistole M1912/P.16, Farquhar-Hill, M1917 MG, Carcano M91 Carbine, and Type 38 Arisaka. The new melee weapons include Naval Cutlass and a Grappling Hook.

will feature an Infiltrator Elite Class, L-Class Destroyer, C-Class Airship, a new Operation and more. The new game mode, Conquest Assault, will contain a mandatory twist on the signature conquest mode.
