The Witcher trilogy from CD Projekt Red has been a massive success for the developer who are currently busy with their next game - Cyberpunk 2077. And while CDPR stated multiple times that the next Witcher game won't be coming anytime soon, it is safe to say that this will be their next project, after they are done with Cyberpunk multiplayer.
And while this is going to be a long wait, to make it a bit easier, CD Projekt Red plan to release The Witcher 3 for next-gen, and there are also a ton of mods that can offer unique playthroughs. One such mod is Farewell to the White Wolf, which brings a brand new story, serving as an epilogue for books and games of The Witcher series.
Farewell to the White Wolf is basically a story mod for The Witcher 2 but as you can see from the screenshots and the trailer, it looks pretty decent and it is safe to say that many Witcher fans will be excited to try it out.
The story will show us the wedding of Geralt and Yennefer, as well as the fate of other characters that appeared in The Witcher series. Ciri, Letho, Lambert, Dandelion are just some of the popular characters that will appear in the story. Players will also get to revisit iconic locations such as Kaer Morhen.
