Paradox Interactive's survival colony management game Surviving Mars just got a fresh DLC pack that will let its players scratch the Red Planet's surface and expand their colonies.
Surviving Mars: Below & Beyond key features
Back to the Bases - Below and Beyond equips the players with the tools needed to venture down into Mars' caves and lava tubes. You can use the structures you already know and love or give the new underground-specific buildings a whirl but always be mindful of the potential cave-ins that threaten to ruin all your hard work.
Mine Your Own Business - With the "Below" portion of the expansion detailed in the last bullet point, we turn to the "Beyond". Surviving Mars now has the option to build special rocket-propelled buildings meant to mine resources on passing asteroids. The nature of an asteroid is summed up in three little letters: ABC (always be cruising) so be sure you pack up and return to home base before the large chunk of space debris sails away with your stuff.
Branching Paths - New research tree unlock alert: The Recon and Expansion will open the door to additional buildings, vehicles, upgrades, and locales, plus asteroid mining and tunnel colonization options.
