ConcernedApe turned into an early Santa when he announced that the progress on Stardew Valley 1.5 is going strong and the cycle is coming to an end.
Erc "ConcernedApe" Barone recently announced that Stardew Valley update 1.5 is in its final stretch which is just a different way of saying things are getting wrapped up.
Considering the fans have been waiting for this update since early 2020, one could argue it's high time it was released but there are two key reasons why no one should get upset over it. First, ConcernedApe is a one-man show and second, the update is free so there is that whole saying about a gift horse and its mouth.
Despite not giving an approximation on when 1.5 might get released, Barone did note that it's polishing and bug fixing that he's currently covering. From the sound of the announcement tweet, the update will be filled ot the brim with content as the developer could hardly contain his excitement in the sentence.
From a reply to one of the comments on the tweet, you can see that the update will be heavily leaning on the late game content but this will not be the exclusive focus of 1.5.
Apparently, there are some new features and options that players can choose for a new game that could make the run a bit fresher, offering more replayability for the game that already costs little.
It's practically a steal when you consider the price and compare it against all the game offers.
