Stadia Pro subscribers will be saying goodbye to Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and welcoming Thumper and Rise of the Tomb Raider in January 2020. Farming Simulator 19, Destiny 2 and Samurai Showdown will still be available in 2020.
Two free games are coming for Google Stadia owners with a Pro subscription. Thumper and Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available to the Pro subscribers come 1 January 2020.
In Thumper, the "rhythm game of beautiful destruction", you guide your space beetle (!) at break-neck speeds across the game's vistas, all the while shaking and breaking your enemies in time with the beat.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available in its 20 Year Celebration edition. It's Lara Croft's second modern-day adventure that sees our Lady on a quest to reveal the secrets of everlasting life. Women in showbusiness, am I right?
The already available Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition, Destiny 2: The Collection and Samurai Showdown will still be up for grabs in January 2020. The three games were added to the library in November 2019.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is on its way out and will leave Stadia Pro at 5:00 pm GMT on Tuesday, 31 December 2019. If you download the game before it disappears like Lara's ample (and very pointy) bosom, it will reside in your Stadia Pro library as long as you remain a subscriber.
If all this has you interested in Stadia Pro subscription, here's what you need to know. The service costs ₤7.63 per month and it will grant you free access to Stadia streams with 4K/60 fps HDR and 5.1 surround sound. All this provided your bandwidth can deliver.
The Stadia Pro subscription will bring you select games for free as well as grant discounts on your purchases.
