Silence Channel - Lexip Games' upcoming horror-adventure game just got an exclusive playable demo along with a creepy trailer.
Silence Channel is currently scheduled for an official release on February 18, 2021. The game is in development by the same team who previously introduced the fans to Dark Room and is planned as a continuation to the series of creepy first-person point-and-click adventures.
Silence Channel casts its players in the role of John Martin, an Investigative reporter sent to a remote location to check out rumours of unexplainable sightings. Exploration and terrifying surprises ensue.
John Martin, being convinced that the rumours are nothing more than local folklore and myth, arrives at his destination one early fog-covered morning with the aim of taking a few photos, making a couple of interviews with the locals, and quietly departing to write up his piece on local gossip.
The game will offer a classic point-and-click experience. There will be a veritable truckload of clues to find and decipher, doors to unlock (or kick down), puzzles to solve and mysteries to demystify.
The players will be given the task to use and combine the items they discover to progress in the game. You will be able to find clues in the most unusual of places and your journal will turn into a handy logbook of letters and evidence.
Pay attention to the walls in the game as they will contain strange messages and riddles of importance. Most important of all - remember that you're not alone.
Silence Channel's free demo is available via Steam .
