Harebrained Schemes' trilogy of turn-based RPGs is coming to console at the very beginning of summer 2022, offering the players an unforgettable story-driven adventure.
Shadowrun Trilogy has been out on PC for years, with the first game in the series bound to celebrate the 10th anniversary in 2023. However, the console owners never had the chance to drop into these cyberpunk games that actually exceeded expectations, unlike a certain blockbuster from the end of 2020.
Anyway, the Shadowrun Trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 simultaneously on June 21, 2022.
According to Paradox Interactive and Harebrained Schemes, the games have been remastered for the consoles with upscaled graphics, improved performance and gameplay optimised for controllers. Furthermore, all the games are already available for preorder on their respective storefronts.
That said, keep in mind that these are digital goods and will not run out of stock. In other words, preordering them doesn't make much sense but the option is there if you want it.
If you're wondering in which order you should play the games, the best way to do it is the way they were released. Start with Shadowrun Returns, follow up by Shadowrun Dragonfall and finally close it out with Shadowrun Hong Kong.
Dragonfall plot is somewhat connected to the first game but Hong Kong's plot is completely separated.
