Rumour has it that PlayStation exclusive Sly Cooper is reportedly returning in the near future. There are not much details at this point, but we assume the game would be PlayStation 5 only title.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, is the last main entry in the classic PlayStation franchise Sly. Since this 2013 release, Sony pretty much forgot about this stealth platformer, which could potentially be another massive game for the PlayStation 5.
You probably remember that Sony included Sly Cooper logo in one of their recent video ads, which fueled the rumours that master thief raccoon Sly is coming back in style. Check the video below at 0:58 for the clue.
In addition to this, insider Nick Baker aka Shpeshal Nick has tweeted that his sources claim that Sly is most definitely returning but he did not provide additional info about this project.
"My normal Sony source (was originally told by a newer source) just confirmed to me that Sly is indeed coming back. That’s it. That’s all. Just an update since many of you still DM me to this day."
While this is just speculation at the moment, since nothing has been officially confirmed, you can bet that Sony did not include that Sly Cooper logo in their recent ad for no reason. We expect to hear more about what could be a Sly reboot, in the near future.
Until Sony officially unveil the game, take everything you've just read with a grain of salt just like any rumour and unconfirmed leak.
