Riot Games rebrands League+ into Riot Mobile

The portfolio of Riot Games has greatly expanded since they originally launched League+ in 2019. To make it easier to navigate this expansive ecosystem, Riot are transitioning League+ into a mobile companion for all their games and products.

The first thing you should know is that on October 4th, 2021 League+ will be upgraded to Riot Mobile. The goal of this project is to create an experience for players that made it easy to discover new content and activities to engage with, stay informed across all of their titles and events, and connect to other Riot players outside of the game.

The design team has worked hard to enhance your experience on mobile and build a solid foundation for some really cool features coming in 2022 focused on esports, more access to content, and personalization.

For v1.0, the enhanced Riot Mobile experience includes:

  • layer Profiles
  • Cross-Game & Cross-Region Chat
  • Quick Paths to Search for Friends & Start Conversations

If you’re looking for an easy way to stay up to date with the games and events that matter most to you, Riot Mobile has you covered. All current games will be supported at launch, but should you only play one or two of those, don’t worry. Riot Mobile allows players to easily set filters so they only see the content and experiences that they care about the most.

The main focus, after all, will be making it easier for players to connect with the content and people they enjoy across all of the Riot titles in a fun and comfortable way. Riot Mobile will continue to expand, of course, as the company continues to launch more titles, and we can expect the upcoming MMORPG to join that list.
