According to a now-deleted job listing on Respawn's website, the studio are currently hiring for a brand new game, which will let players keep "adventuring forever."
EA's California-based studio Respawn Entertainment have become one of the most respected developers over the last couple of years thanks to their two major, critically-acclaimed releases - Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and of course, the free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends.
We also know that the studio have big plans for the future and are currently working on new projects , which should be announced this year, hopefully. Today, we have a tiny bit of info about one of these new titles.
According to a now-deleted job listing on Respawn's website , the studio are currently hiring a team to develop a brand new game, that uses "new, practical tech" to allow players to keep "adventuring forever."
What exactly does this mean, you may ask? Well, in this very moment, it's hard to say since the details are pretty scarce but it would not surprise us if this is a live-service title, with seasonal content and a battle pass structure.
Of course, this is just speculation so take everything with a grain of salt but there's no point in "adventuring forever" in short, single-player games, so this is definitely something more multiplayer-oriented.
Respawn could announce their new games at EA Play show, which is usually scheduled for June.
