Earlier this month, Capcom suffered a massive data breach resulting in leaks of their confidential files including full development plans for their upcoming releases and ton of other details. Today, we have a couple of new, interesting leaks which reveal more proof that Resident Evil 4 Remake is in deep development.
The leaked files include assets that developers will probably use for the remake. The leak state that these assets we were outsourced to company PANDART INC. for the upcoming RE4 remake. You can check out some of the assets in the full gallery on Imgur.
As you can see, most of these assets are static objects that will be placed all over the iconic village in Resident Evil 4.
In case you were sceptic about the existence of Resident Evil Remake 4, even after the recent leak, which revealed the game's Q4 FY 2022 release date, these assets are you biggest proof yet that the game is indeed coming.
It may not arrive as fast as we would like but don't forget that another major Resident Evil title is coming early next year. Yes, we are talking about Village which is arriving in late April 2021, according to leaked data.
Both Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The latter could also come to PS4 and Xbox One but Capcom are yet to officially confirm this.
