Capcom released a trailer featuring the characters and creatures of Resident Evil 3 Remake. Some of them are familiar faces, some altered more than others but it's Nemesis and the new enemy called the Hunter that take the spotlight.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will feature Brad Vickers, who appeared in the original game as well but as the veterans know by now, his fate was not exactly a pretty one. However, it is uncertain how he will fare in the remake since Capcom are altering both the appearance and more in-game elements related to key characters in Raccoon City.
Mikhail Viktor, the UBCS captain seen in the '99 title will be making a return along with Tyrell Patrick and Murphy Seeker, the team's poindexter and sniper, respectively. It is currently unknown whether their roles will be altered in the upcoming title but the initial state Jill finds them in seems to be fairly reminiscent of the one in the original.
Nicholai Ginovaef is the fourth UBCS member that is not as keen on working with Jill as the rest of his buddies but the official description leaves no room for doubt of his self-preservation skills.
While Jill, Carlos and Nemesis are the previously confirmed returning members of the cast, the last one is depicted a bit differently from the original as he seems to favour a flamethrower, shown in several scenes in the trailer. Don't worry though, the bazooka is still around, as you can see on the picture below the trailer.
Hunters are the only new arrivals revealed so far. Players will have sections that will be played from both Carlos and Jill's perspectives and both will encounter these bioweapons that came to be after splicing genetic material of humans and reptiles. It is said to be a fast and powerful enemy.
