Rebel Inc. is a game in development by Ndemic Creations, the developers of Plague Inc., as the name may have tipped you off. This time around it's less about mankind eradication and more about keeping peace.
Ndemic Creations will send players on the path of peace with Rebel Inc. as opposed to spreading terrible diseases worldwide. The game will be set in a country where war ended recently and there are people who obviously don't see eye to eye. The players' job will be to broker peace between the war-worn sides through diplomacy and relief efforts.
Furthermore, there will be a discrepancy between the wishes of the military and civilians which will act as a seasoning to a non-agreeing post-war cake so players can find even more challenge putting everything together. As a cherry on top, there is the eponymous rising insurgency that threatens to take the country over and potentially plunge it back into war.
There are five regions in total that need stabilisation and six governors in total so we are not sure just yet how that will work out. Each governor has a unique ability that can range from players receiving a year's worth of monetary gains in one go or choose the Warlord in order to train a personal militia.
Ndemic Creations stated the country is inspired by Afghanistan and they worked with politicians, journalists and other experts to get into the intricacies of keeping peace and rebuilding a war-torn country.

Rebel Inc. will first launch in but there are plans for expanding the game through new governors, regions and various modes with both campaign and multiplayer involved, be it co-op or versus.
