POSTAL Redux is an HD remaster of the 23-year-old twin-stick shooter. The game will become available to the owners of Nintendo Switch in mid-October.
POSTAL Redux, an HD remaster of the famous 23-year-old twin-stick shooter, will appear on Nintendo Switch on October 16, 2020.
The remaster that's more than a remaster, POSTAL Redux will feature new levels and a new gameplay mode called Rampage - for those who'd like a bit more challenge.
Next month will see Running With Scissors release the game on Nintendo Switch and mark the franchise’s first appearance on console.
With the addition of Rampage, POSTAL fans are expected to go wild. The single-player gameplay mode of POSTAL will reward an aggressive style of play by increasing a multiplier for each consecutive kill in a streak.
Players will receive a score and letter grade following the completion of each level. Rampage Mode will incentivize gamers to replay levels using different strategies to increase their score. Rampage will also offer the gamers countless hours of fun, with its addictive and re-playable gameplay.
"Over 20 years ago, we had no clue the impact POSTAL would have had on society and gaming history," said Vince Desi, founder of Running With Scissors. "POSTAL coming out on SWITCH is our dream come true. On behalf of everyone at RWS, we give thanks to our fans for the many years of support. We’re just getting started."
