Fallout 76 players have found a way to enter developer room which features every item in the game as well as some unreleased weapons and gear. Bethesda responded by issuing automatic account suspensions for those who use the exploit.
Players have found a new exploit in Fallout 76 just days after Bethesda revealed their latest , which, according to them fixed some of the most annoying bugs and glitches in the game.
The latest exploit gives players access to the forbidden fruit which is Fallout 76's developer room. In case you're not familiar with the term, a dev room contains every single item in the game and is mainly used for testing.
Both Fallout and Skyrim had these rooms and they were accessible through the in-game console but given that Fallout 76 is an online game, players had to use exploits to enter this time around.
Those who accessed the dev room shared their experience on Reddit but some of these posts are being taken down soon after they get posted. YouTuber PolterGeist posted a video in which he loots the place and reveals some unreleased Power Armor paint jobs. These items will probably get an official release in a future update.
Bethesda have taken steps to stop players from using the exploit by banning everyone who picks up items from the room. One player who got banned shared the message in which Bethesda states that his characters have been corrupted after "visiting the area which isn't typically accessible via normal gameplay".
They also require a full description of the exploit in order to unban the account. "Please describe the way it was accessed in a reply to this email. That detail should provide the information necessary for us to correct any corruption issues and safely release this account and return these characters back into the world," it's written in Bethesda's email.
