Platinum Games have reassured fans that Bayonetta 3 is still pretty much on the way. The game is not cancelled and you should take any concerns you have and throw them out the window immediately, they confirmed.
Platinum Games have not talked much about their upcoming hack and slash title Bayonetta 3 ever since the reveal back in 2017. Yes, a couple of minor development updates have been shared but Platinum Games are yet to show us Bayonetta 3 in action, which was a cause for concern to many fans.
Luckily, Platinum games have reassured players that the game is still pretty much on the way so fear not. In the latest interview with VGC , Platinum Games' director Hideki Kamiya was asked once again about Bayonetta 3 development.
Kamiya reiterated that the game has not been cancelled and that fans who have these concern have nothing to worry about. The developers are still working hard on it according to Kamiya, who asked fans to look forward to playing the game. Here is his answer in full:
"I’m on Twitter so I see a lot of comments every day. I’m happy that there’s still anticipation for the title, but one thing I would like to address is the trend I’m seeing which is people who are starting to ask if the game has been cancelled. I want you guys to take any concerns you have like that and throw them out the window immediately because we’re still hard at work on it and it hasn’t been cancelled by any means. Please look forward to it!"
So there you have it, folks, Bayonetta 3 is coming and all we can do is stay excited and wait for the official gameplay reveal and more details.
