People Can Fly revealed all we need to know about the upcoming Outriders demo, including the start time, date and what we can play through without the full game.
Outriders is launching on April 1, 2021, but the game will have a demo that is going to be free for everyone to try out, starting on February 25, 2021.
The big date will be slightly different for some regions due to the timezones, so here is when you can expect it in yours:
- North and South America
- 9:00 AM PT
- 12:00 (noon) EST
- Europe
- 5:00 PM GMT
- 6:00 PM CET
- Asia and Oceania
- 9:00 PM GST
- 2:00 AM JST - February 26
- 4:00 AM AEDT - February 26
The devs were pretty clear that this is a demo, not a beta, and it will be free to access for everyone. Crossplay is the only thing that is in beta at this time and speaking of which, the game will be available on the following platforms:
- PC - Via steam or streaming on devices through GeForce Now
- Playstation 4 and 5
- Xbox One and Series X/S
As for the available content, we will all get to try out the prologue and the opening chapter. During those parts, we will be able to try out all four classes as well story and side missions.
Furthermore, all the participants will be able to carry their progress over to the full game, if they decide to purchase it from April 1 onwards. The only restriction is that if you play the demo on Steam, you can't carry the progress over to Epic Games Store version of the game, if you buy it there.
