Even though Ninja Gaiden 4 is not even out yet, Team Ninja has officially revealed The Two Masters, a brand-new DLC expansion set to release in early 2026. The expansion will introduce fresh post-game story content, new weapons for both Ryu and Yakumo, and additional challenge modes separate from the core Ninja Trials.
The new story campaign takes place after the events of the base game and unfolds from the perspectives of both Ryu Hayabusa and Yakumo. This dual narrative approach aims to deepen the connection between the two warriors, while giving players fresh insights into their roles in the aftermath of Ninja Gaiden 4.
Alongside the story, The Two Masters adds new weapons designed specifically for both Ryu and Yakumo. Each weapon will feature distinct stats and mechanics, offering a variety of new ways for players to approach combat.
The DLC also includes brand-new challenge content that will stand apart from the Ninja Trials featured in the base game. While details on these challenges remain limited, they are expected to provide additional layers of difficulty and replayability for fans seeking to test their skills.
