No matter how much the fanbase yearns for any new New World content, the developers are adamant about bringing the game to its full release before taking on any new projects.
New World is an upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game by Amazon Games set to be released on September 28, 2021. The game was previously scheduled to release in May 2020 and subsequently August 2021, but was delayed to its current date.
For thousands of years, the mysterious island of Aeternum has been the source of fantastical legends—and now you’ve found it. Shipwrecked, with no supplies or allies, you’ll need to make your way in a dangerous world where the fundamental laws of life and death don’t apply.
Magic flows through Aeternum. It brings life: miraculous healing, reanimation of the dead, and strange flora with magical properties. And it brings horror: the power to cause untold destruction and the slow wasting of the soul through countless cycles of death and resurrection.
A classic fantasy MMO story that was brought to life with superb execution. One just has to look at fan anticipation of the game release to see its success.
However, no matter how much the fans spam the New World social networks with a question regarding a new beta, to tide them over until the game is fully released, Amazon Game Studios are not planning on it and are looking to present the game in its best possible version on release date.
Due to the number of delays the game launch has had, this is by no means a bad thing. It would be heartbreaking to see the game in a less-than-stellar light after all this time, which may just happen if the focus is turned to projects such as launching a new beta server.
