Among the community "New Queue" seems to be the new nickname for New World. As all players try to find their own version of Aeternum, Amazon have promised to give them a free character transfer to help them finding a long-time server.

All regions are now live! It has been an unbelievable 24 hours and the support for New World that New World has seen so far has been incredible. It has come to the understanding of Amazon that some players are experiencing lengthy queue times and they are working hard on a few things to help address these issues. One of those is continuing to stand up additional servers and expanding the capacity of the existing servers once these changes have been properly tested.

Amazon'ssole focus right now is to get everyone logging in and playing quickly. To ensure everyone can find an open world now, while also finding a home in Aeternum with their community long-term, Amazon have announced on their official New World site that they will offer an opportunity in the next two weeks for all players to relocate their characters to a new server of their choice at no cost.

A lot of players, though, are hounding Amazon for not stress testing the servers for launch. Currently, as we know, servers are capped at two thousand players per server. Fans find this a laughable number, considering just how much support the company should have, host-wise.

Amazon Game Studios should be capable of acquiring servers capable of hosting a game that has a player-base below one million players, as they are, well, Amazon, after all.

Some go on to say that the developers are expecting a decrease in the number of players the game has, and see no reason to put such measures in place, as they will be redundant soon enough. However, with the numbers shown today, the game obviously has a good foundation and a bright future ahead, if the developers make an effort to create content to keep these players playing the game.
