Two new free games have arrived to Epic Games Store. This time, you'll get to play Ubisoft's action-adventure Watch Dogs and Davey Wreden's walking simulator The Stanley Parable. Both games are available for free download from today, 19 March until 26 March 2020.
As you may know, Watch Dogs is Ubisoft's controversial title from 2014 that follows the story of a hacker Aiden Pearce. The game's reveal at E3 2013 was pretty impressive but the final version was significantly downgraded, causing a massive backlash and ultimately resulting in low review scores.
The sequel Watch Dogs 2 is a much better title and definitely worth your time but since the original game is free, you should give it a go, who knows, you may end up liking it.
As for The Stanley Parable, the game originally launched as a free-to-play mod for Half-Life 2 by American developer Davey Wreden. Soon after that, the game got a standalone remake with new story elements and much better graphics thanks to the Source engine.
It is one of the most iconic Steam games of all time and it currently sits 91 out of 100 on Steam with more than 32.000 reviews.
