If there's anything to say about Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord fans is that they're a passionate bunch and just as they seemed to be getting frustrated with the lack of official news, TaleWorlds came out with an Early Access release date.
In their latest tweet, TaleWorlds wrote, "Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will be released in Early Access on 31st March 2020. The game will be available for purchase through Steam, Epic Games Store, and TaleWorlds website, for $49.99/€49.99/£39.99."
Now, we've known about the March 2020 release date and while we, as much as the rest of the Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord community it seems, hoped it won't be the absolute end of March, it turns out it is.
On the other hand, as long as TaleWorlds polish Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord as much as they can prior to the release, we'll be happy, because "passionate" is probably an understatement when talking about the game's fans. We should know.
Of course, we're talking about an Early Access release on all three platforms, so it's safe to assume there will be more polishing before a proper launch, but we'll take it. Considering the added complexity Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is bringing to the table, we're confident it'll be well worth it.
In one of their latest updates, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord dev presented the overhauled AI combat which will let more experienced and challenge-hungry players have a real sword fighting challenge, while allowing the lesser skilled players to drop the AI difficulty a notch or two.
