EA have finally revealed the release date and screenshots for the upcoming Mass Effect Remastered trilogy. The collection is coming on May 14, 2021, and it's safe to say that it looks stunning with the new visuals.

The long-awaited remaster of the iconic sci-fi trilogy Mass Effect is finally arriving on May 14, 2021, EA officially confirmed in the reveal trailer, which you can check out above. As you may know, Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes single-player base content and over 40 DLC from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.

Additionally, players will also get promo weapons, armours and packs. And of course, the most important thing - the trilogy is remastered with stunning new visuals and optimised for 4K resolution. You can check out some of the screenshots of the new version below:

It's safe to say that the game looks great and we cannot wait to dive into this space opera once again, for the old time's sake. As for the gameplay changes, you no longer have to worry about weapon-based class restrictions, meaning that you can use every gun with every class. On top of this, each Mass Effect 1 gun has received balancing and has a unique feel, similar to those you find in later games.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition officially launches on May 14, 2021, for PC via Origin and Steam, Xbox One and PS4 (compatible with next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X).
