Can anyone stop G2?

Transfers are already kicking in for League of Legends esports' next season and some of the biggest ones, for now, are tied to North America which keeps importing some of the brightest talents from Europe.

Luka "Perkz" Perković, the face of G2 Esports and the player normally seen as the root of the team's success in League of Legends, is parting ways with the organisation. It was known that the move would happen for a while now but it was tagged as a rumour since there was no official confirmation.

The confirmation came on November 17, 2020, when G2 posted the farewell video, seen below, and both parties announced their goodbyes across social media.

While Cloud 9 didn't post an official announcement yet, it seems evident this is Perković's next destination. Meanwhile, Nisqy is apparently exiting the team and Fnatic are rumoured to be the buyers.

Those moves marked the end of an era for western League of Legends esports as Perkz was crucial in creating one of the most dominant western rosters in the history.

Broxah, another player whose performances impressed during his days in LEC, spent a year with Team Liquid but the time has come for him to get a new team as well. Both parties confirmed the release but this story has a confirmed next chapter as well.

CLG has acquired the services of the Danish jungler but it remains to be seen if he will manage to find his form and become one of the most dominant junglers around.
