In the new League of Legends 2025 season, LeBlanc is set to receive a rework. The VGU (Visual and Gameplay Update) for Leblanc is looking to revive the champion's popularity and increase its pick rate.

It's finally here: the LeBlanc rework. Recently, Riot Games dropped the season's cinematic, themed around Noxus; the community seemed to just love it.

Anyway, amid the hype, there was a high point no doubt stole the screen-a sneak look at LeBlanc's Visual and Gameplay Update (VGU) we have long desired.

As leaked earlier, during the Noxus season, LeBlanc is getting one of the biggest updates in visuals and gameplays. And though the release date is not yet confirmed, for sure it won't be this month.

But judging by the sneak peek alone, fans are already amazed. Her new concept is bold, eye-catching, and teeters more profoundly on the Arab-inspired elements that define her character; a testament that Riot has certainly pulled all stops to turn her mystifying charm into truly unmatched.

Gameplay adjustments

As much as LeBlanc's visual update, her playstyle is getting revamped. Riot hasn't revealed much yet, but players can expect her to be polished while retaining much of what made her the Deceiver.

A developer update is due from Riot tomorrow, and they detail the gameplay changes LeBlanc is getting among other possible surprises.

The same update may also detail Mel Medarda, another highly anticipated addition to League of Legends.

The rework will breathe life into the champion for players in love with LeBlanc: updated visuals, gameplay tweaks aiming to modernize while staying true to her core style.

LeBlanc Visual Update

Some of the most apparent changes include her hair and makeup: LeBlanc's signature blue-purple hair is still there, but the makeup now features golden highlights rather than the dark accents her older artwork showed.

The change really amplifies her mystical vibe without losing any of her familiarity. Another subtle detail is the absence of her crown from earlier designs.

Despite this, her updated look has retained its regal charm, fitting for the head of the Black Rose. Her iconic staff has been redesigned to feature a floating black rose symbol that further captures the sinister and magical feel. Decorated golden ornaments on her chest add to a cohesive and mystic design.

The changes draw from the recently revealed concept art, as well as her appearances in the animated series and cinematic. While her in-game model does not fully emulate the cinematic, it really brings out LeBlanc as an elegant, cunning mage.

This visual remake is going to include only the changes on LeBlanc's model, animations and splash arts since her abilities and game mechanics remain the same.

Riot also has announced that every skin for this champion will be re-done to keep a consistent look across her skins collection. Fans also have a reason to be thrilled by the addition of a new prestigious skin that had been teased by recent concept art.

LeBlanc VGU release date

This visual update will hit with a patch sometime soon, probably well within the next couple of patches-the eight patch, Noxus-themed season, if one were to hazard a guess. Riot's looking to bring LeBlanc's design into modern standards without changing what essentially makes her the iconic champion she is.

It is an exciting time for the seasoned mains and new players looking to master these deceptively skillful abilities.
