Riot Games finally shared some exciting details about the fighting game that's now called 2XKO which will hit the market no earlier than early 2025. Earlier known as Project L, this game will be multi-platform and likely hit the markets in January 2025.
The journey of 2XKO itself started in November 2021 when Riot presented it to the public for the first time under the codename Project L. Anticipation has slowly but indeed began to build up in the gaming community.
Riot Games themselves have been diligently working on developing this title and has guaranteed an innovative fighting game experience over anything else.
Of the most striking features of 2XKO, however, is this tag team system wherein each player will control two characters. This can add strategic depth to the match and yet still keep the gameplay fast-paced- totally different from the fighting games out in the market today.
It is expected to be released early in 2025, more specifically targeting the month of January. That makes for a good start to the year for Riot Games and its fans.
Given the track record of the development team, which happens to include the immensely popular League of Legends, it is a given to expect 2XKO to pledge a top-tier fighting game experience.
That said, the announcement of 2XKO from Riot Games has been lit to create a buzz in the gaming community. The uniqueness of 2XKO is about bringing in some tag-team system and extensive play testing, and it is going to be released in early 2025; after that, there is an impact that this game is going to bestow on the fighting game genre.
Therefore, the fans can't wait to embark on this new adventure- an advancement of the fighting game genre.
