According to a job listing on the official website of Wasteland developer Inxile Entertainment, the studio are currently working on a first-person RPG game, running on Unreal Engine 5.
Xbox studio Inxile Entertainment, who you may know as the developer of the popular RPG series Wasteland are currently working on an unannounced AAA title, which is set to arrive on Xbox Series X via Game Pass and of course, PC.
Inxile are still hiring for the project and thanks to one of the job listings on their official website, we have first details about this game. InXile are looking for an Art Director to work on their ambitious, first-person AAA RPG running on UE5 "to help the team transform that direction into mind-blowing game visuals."
Additionally, the studio are seeking for someone to create "visually stunning 3D facial animations" and "deliver life-like face performances on original timeless characters."
Judging by the job listing, Inxile's new title will be a proper eye-candy but you can bet the team will also deliver on RPG mechanics and fun gameplay, just like they did with their previous titles Wasteland and The Bard's Tale.
All in all, we expect to hear more about Inxile's new project this year, potentially at E3 2021, when Microsoft will probably reveal a ton of new projects. We know Xbox fans say it every year, but it looks like this year's E3 could be the one for the American tech giant.
